The MD/RN pathway is designed to introduce students to foundational procedures performed by physicians and nurses. These procedures introduce students in generalizable skills such as infection control, maintaining sterile field, communication with patients and sharps safety. These procedures are also commonly performed in these professions and form a foundation that can be built upon throughout the student's career.

Career Pathway: EMT/Paramedic
The procedures contained in this pathway are introductory procedures performed by Emergency Medical Technicians (EMT) and Paramedics. These procedures are common procedures performed. In addition to learning the procedural skill, these procedure courses introduce students to common themes including patient assessment, needle safety, infection control, medical terminology and patient communication. Topics such as respiratory physiology, cardiac physiology and situational awareness are also addressed.
