Who We Are

About Us

At SimRated, we dared to challenge the status quo. The old "see one, do one, teach one" mantra has long been the gold standard in medical training, but we knew there had to be a better way—so we created it.

  • Kam Weller A.T.,C., P.T.A

I am currently head athletic trainer at Lakewood High School. I teach Sports Medicine and Anatomy at the high school. I also teach Introduction to Sports Medicine at Long Beach City College. I received my BA from CSULB and MA from Azusa Pacific University. I am a Certified Athletic Trainer, Physical Therapy Assistant, and a Nationally Board-Certified Science teacher.

  • Michelle Malchiodi, ATC, MA

I have been a certified athletic trainer for over 20 years and also have a MA in educational administration. My work has primarily been in a high school setting where I enjoyed working with student-athletes. I was also a physical education teacher and coached the swim team. While I have been a full time mom for the last 4 years, SimRated provides me a fulfilling opportunity to teach my craft and continue to work with the educational industry. In my free time I enjoy all forms of exercise and chasing around my 3 and 8 year old boys.
